REEF Survey Programme
EcoDive is a 'Conservation Partner' with REEF (Reef Environmental Education Foundation). As a conservation partner, we have launched their 'Volunteer Fish Survey Project'.
The project allows volunteer SCUBA divers and snorkelers to collect and report information on marine fish populations as well as selected invertebrate and algae species in temperate areas.

Growing up in Bermuda, Sam started scuba diving at the young age of 11 with Triangle Diving and was instantly hooked on all things diving. In a short amount of time Sam became the youngest Divemaster and then Instructor on the island. The knowledge and experiences gained at this point in Sam’s career sparked enthusiasm for both safety and high quality training, the foundations which now lay at the heart of EcoDive. Outside of diving Sam is passionate to be out on the water either paddle boarding or kayaking. More recently, Sam has taken up Wing Foiling as a hobby. If you can’t see him on the water then he’ll probably be off exploring the island's many caves or cleaning up the local beaches and mangrove areas.
Ocean/Environment Positive Excursions
With every excursion we operate, whether scuba diving, snorkelling, or land-based, we aim to leave the environment better than we found it.
One way in which we do this is by providing all participants with reusable rubbish bags.
The rubbish is then weighed and taken away to be disposed of properly.
We are also partnered with 'Plastic Mermade' to be able to reuse whatever plastic possible to create amazing artwork and a platform for education on ocean plastics.
