Service Description
Wreck diving requires new considerations and skills to safely and respectfully execute these dives. Wreck Diving can be one of the most exciting aspects of sports diving; however, every effort must be made to maximize safe diving techniques. What you get from this course: The Wreck Diver Course will discuss the equipment and techniques commonly employed while wreck diving. This course may be taught as a non-penetration, with two dives required, or as a limited-penetration course, requiring three dives. Limited penetration is defined as a swim through or within the ambient light of the entry point. Student Prerequisites 1. SDI Open Water Scuba Diver, or equivalent 2. Minimum age 18, 15 for limited penetration course with parental consent 3. Minimum age 10 with parental consent for a non-penetration course 4. Junior Open Water Divers may not participate in any penetration activities or dives deeper than 18 metres / 60 feet 5. Divers must have a deep diver speciality certification or be able to provide proof of experience to dive deeper than 18 metres / 60 feet in this course Duration: 2 days Upon successful completion of this course, you may: - Dive wrecks that are similar to the type of wrecks they were exposed to during training - Plan and execute a wreck dive Also, the SDI Wreck Diver certification counts towards a single speciality rating to achieve the SDI Advanced Diver Development program. Cancellation Policy
Please be aware that EcoDive Ltd. operates a 24-hour cancellation policy. Therefore, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice of cancellation on any booking. In the event that the booking is cancelled within the 24 hours of the scheduled reservation, EcoDive Ltd reserves the right to charge the price of any booking. EcoDive Ltd. reserves the right to charge the price of any booking. There is a 72-hour cancellation policy on all Courses. You will NOT be charged if EcoDive Ltd. is forced to cancel due to weather or mechanical issues.
