This course provides you with knowledge and skills to prevent and manage problems in the water and to become more confident in your abilities as a diver. What you get from this course: The Rescue Diver Course is designed to develop the knowledge and necessary skills to effectively perform diver rescues and assist and administer the necessary first aid in the event of an emergency. Student Prerequisites 1. Minimum age 18, 10 with parental consent 2. Provide proof of current First Response Adult and Child Emergency Care Provider and Oxygen Administration Provider (where local law permits) certification or equivalent* 3. Provide proof of Advanced Adventure Diver certification, Junior Advanced Adventure certification, or equivalent, or open water diver certification and 15 logged open-water dives 4. Divers under age 15 may earn the Junior Rescue Diver certification. Junior students are to train and dive under the direct supervision of a parent, guardian, or active dive professional *Note: First Response courses may be combined with the Rescue Diver course by qualified instructors Duration: 2 days Who is this for: This course is for divers wishing to expand their diving knowledge and skills. It is also for any diver who wants to be the best dive buddy they can be by being prepared for an emergency should it arise. Upon successful completion of this course, you: 1. Can conduct rescues for divers in distress 2. Are qualified to enrol in: a. The Master Diver Program b. In the event that the booking is cancelled within the 24 hours of the scheduled reservation, EcoDive Ltd reserves the right to charge the price of any booking. EcoDive Ltd. reserves the right to charge the price of any booking. There is a 72-hour cancellation policy on all Courses. You will NOT be charged if EcoDive Ltd. is forced to cancel due to weather or mechanical issues.
