Learn to scuba dive with EcoDive Bermuda! Our open-water scuba diver course is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a certified diver. Our experienced instructors will teach you all the necessary safety precautions and diving techniques so you can explore the underwater world with confidence. Sign up today and start your adventure. What you get from this course: The Open Water Diver Course is your first step to becoming a fully qualified scuba diver. Once you finish this course, you can conduct dives without a dive professional's supervision to the maximum depth of your training (maximum of 60ft/18m). Student Prerequisites 1. Minimum age 18; 10 through 17 with written parental consent 2. Students between the ages of 10 through 14 may obtain an SDI Junior Open Water Scuba Diver Certification if the following conditions are met: Junior students are to train and dive under the direct supervision of a parent, guardian, or active dive professional 3. When a Junior Open Water Diver reaches the age of 15, they may upgrade to an Open Water Scuba Diver certification Duration: 3 - 4 days Who is this for: This course is for someone who wants to become a scuba diver and explore what lies beneath the ocean's surface. Someone wishing to gain their scuba diving qualification. Upon successful completion of this course, graduates may: 1. Conduct open water dives in conditions similar to their training to a maximum depth of 18 metres/ 60 feet. 2. Conduct dives with other certified divers at the same or higher level of certification. 3. Conduct dives that do not require decompression. 4. Enrol in the Advanced Adventure Diver program, individual Specialties or the Advanced Diver Development program Equipment requirements: - All scuba diving equipment will be provided for the course duration. - We recommend that you have your own mask and snorkel. Cancellation Policy
Please be aware that EcoDive Ltd. operates a 24-hour cancellation policy. Therefore, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice of cancellation on any booking. In the event that the booking is cancelled within the 24 hours of the scheduled reservation, EcoDive Ltd reserves the right to charge the price of any booking. EcoDive Ltd. reserves the right to charge the price of any booking. There is a 72-hour cancellation policy on all Courses. You will NOT be charged if EcoDive Ltd. is forced to cancel due to weather or mechanical issues.
